The story of The Red Baron starts during World War I when Manfred Von Richthofen transitioned from serving in the army as a dispatch runner and field telephone operator to a fighter pilot.
Richthofen got the nickname Red Baron from the British due to his red aircraft, but he became famous due to the fact that he shot down a total of 80 allied aircrafts, which was the most number of aircrafts that were shot down by a single pilot during World War I. The German fighter plane that got him through all these battles was called Fokker Dr1 Dreidecker.
Ultimately, The Red Baron was known for his bravery and commitment to fight for his country which led to his death in 1918 at the age of 25, when he was shot down by another fighter pilot. Despite his short life, The Red Baron has made a name for himself in history and has been an inspiration to many as well as a symbol of greatness which is something we hope to reflect in our brand and service.
